photos and information about the Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa area. They actively support the efforts
of local charitable projects.

Por Los Niños de Zihuatanejo, AC. (www.porlosninos.info) Our “sister” Mexican charity
supports educational opportunities for many economically-disadvantaged schools in
Zihuatanejo, including Nueva Creación.

SailFest (www.zihuasailfest.com) Our week-long fiesta & sailboat regatta is one of Mexico’
s premier sailing events and a great community party (for non-sailors as well) that raises
thousands of dollars to benefit the programs of Por Los Niños de Zihuatanejo.

Niños Adelante (www.zihua-ixtapa.com/zihua/charities/ninos_adelante.htm) is a non-profit
organization that provides scholarship dollars to motivated, needy children in the
community, providing them the opportunity to complete Junior High and High school.

Netzahuacoyotl School (www.zihua-ixtapa.com/zihua/netza) is a primary school focusing on
the education of indigenous and poor children in the greater Zihuatanejo area. Enthusiastic
local and international support has made it an inspiring example for our Los Niños efforts.

Zihuatanejo SPCA (www.zihua-ixtapa.com/zihua/charities/spazeng.htm) was founded in
1982 and is maintained exclusively with the founder’s resources. It provides protection,
medical care and home-finder services for stray and mistreated animals.

Rotary Clubs (www.zihua-ixtapa.com/zihua/rotary.html) Information on local Rotary Clubs
and meeting dates. These clubs have been very active in local community projects.
